New Year, New Classes & Workshops Available!
Join the Northwest Florida Ballet in the New Year for a variety of great classes and so much more!

  • Adult Ballet Classes: A NEW Adult Beginner Ballet Class is now available on Wednesdays (6-7pm) beginning on Jan. 10. Visit the Registration page of the Community Classes section to learn more.
  • Master Ballet Class with Todd Eric Allen: NFB’s Artistic Director/CEO, will be teaching a master ballet class for Intermediate/Advanced level dancers age 12 and up on January 12. Click on the Events page to learn more.
  • FREE Hip Hop Class with Katrina Green: Open to all ages and levels, Ms. Katrina will conduct a free class on February 3 with no registration required. Click on the Events page to learn more.

The PLIÉ (Parents Leading in Education) of the Northwest Florida Ballet Académie presented the Fort Walton Beach Public Library with a check in the amount of $2000.00. The Fort Walton Beach Library has been a partner with the NFB Académe for more than 13 years. Students attend the library with their teachers monthly and enjoy extended checkout periods as well as fine-free library service. NFB Académe have attended more than 800 classroom visits; and over the course of the partnership, the students have checked out more than 45,000 library items.

The Northwest Florida Ballet (NFB) announces programming for its 48th season and welcomes back the Northwest Florida Ballet Symphony Orchestra led by renowned conductor and composer, David Ott.

The 2017-2018 season includes World Ballet Stars, a FREE outdoor performance of Giselle, the full-length production of The Nutcracker with live music by the NFB Symphony Orchestra, Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas and Peter Pan with live music by the NFB Symphony Orchestra. In addition, this season we have two different subscription packages to choose from.

FORT WALTON BEACH — Enchanted seems like the best word to describe Courtney Shealy. At 19, she has explored underwater caves in Oman, risen through ranks at the United States’ most prestigious ballet company and danced in front of thousands at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
