Northwest Florida Ballet (NFB) Company, Trainee and Pre-Professional Program (PPP) auditions will take place on May 22 at the main building in downtown Fort Walton Beach. Trainee auditions will take place from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, and auditions for the PPP and Company programs will be conducted from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Company auditions are open to students entering the eighth grade and up with at least six years of formal ballet training and two years of pointe experience for female dancers. NFB’s Trainee program is designed for students in the sixth grade and up with at least three years of formal ballet training. The PPP audition is open to any student in the community entering the ninth through twelfth grades who have at least six years of formal ballet training. Female dancers must have two years on pointe.
NFB Company, Trainee and PPP auditions are by reservation and require an audition fee of $20. The registration form and payment are due by May 19 and may be paid by mail or in-person at the NFB Studios (510 Perry Ave. SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
