About the Northwest Florida Ballet:
The Northwest Florida Ballet celebrates its 46th year as a regionally recognized semi-professional ballet company and school.  In addition, NFB has developed the nationally acclaimed Académie – an integrated academic and dance education program serving 142 students from the third to eighth grade.  In 2012 the NFB introduced the Pre-Professional Program – an intensive dance program for the 9th to 12th grade students preparing for a career in dance.


Dance Instructors

Northwest Florida Ballet is seeking dance instructors to train and develop students in all types of dance for a variety of age groups for the 2018-2019 Season. Age groups begin at age 3 through Adult. Dance instructors must be capable of teaching students in a variety of methods, from demonstration to verbal instruction. Dance instructors will be required to choreograph one dance per class for the end-of-year dance concert.

Current Classes in need of an instructor: Preschool Ballet, Kindergarten Ballet and 1st Grade Ballet held on Saturday Mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

Pay scale is based on professional experience and teaching skills. Teachers must audition by teaching a dance class. Send resumes to sallen@nfballet.org.
